My father (J.Gilpin) received a token for football for the 1921-22 season.I’m researching its history but cannot locate any information. The front says 1921-22, MOLOCCA CUP. The back says Edenderry Arrows Football Club, presented to J.Gilpin, Secy. Any information or other references would be appreciated. Thank you, Robert

Just found the Edenderry site. Fascinating. Now retired from the Portadown Times but still very interested in the history of the town. I must have known you. Is the Bertie Mullen you mentioned originally from Jervis Street, related to Ivan Smyth the barber. If he is still around give him my regards. It was Dennis Guy who played for Glenavon. Tom, his brother, has a son married to my daughter - I was speaking to him today. You were related to Victor Gordon, my workmate for 40 years, who sadly passed away last September. Dennis Guy, by the way, is now in a nursing home. Best wishes from Portadown.

I am doing a search for a friend on Victoria House Bridge Street. Somewhere in the mist of time I read that Victoria House was used for a short period (around 1938?)as a private maternity home? Can anyone thow some light on the subject? if so I would appreciate you contacting me on 02838334190 or my website www.portadownphotos.co.uk

Hello, my Great Aunt Jean Kelly/Livingston , live at 10 Watson Street with for at least 50 years until she died in the 1980's. Her husband was Robert Livingston. Her brother Arnold Kelly was my Grandfather who came to Canada in 1927. For awhile the entire Kelly family (parents Stephen and Lizzie Kelly) lived at 7 Watson. I am wondering if anyone knows of my family?

Hi to all at ECDA,I have fond memories of my early childhood at Florence Court,my grandparents Robert and Minnie Fiddes lived at no 11 and many other family members also lived in the street. As a youth I enjoyed many happy years as a member of Edenderry Cub and Scouts,I note that Skipper,Jack Connell's daughter has been in contact,a great man.I still consider myself a backstreet kid and honoured to have played a small part of its past,I have many great memories of the street including Blacks little shop next to my grandma's to mention one.I was also wondering if anyone has a photo of the street which includes No.11 that I can use in my family tree research.I also beleive there was talk of the local housing association hoping to rebuild the Court, now that would be great to see, here's hoping.Sorry to see some of it's residents lifestyle being upset by the new supermarket development. Keep up the good work and every success for 2013
