I was raised in No. 24 Watson Street (the house closest to Wade's factory). Great to see so many old photographs of the people and places associated with Edenderry. If anyone has any information, especially photographs, of the men from Edenderry who made the supreme sacrifice in the Great War and World War Two, please contact me.

HELLO FOUND YOUR SITE, I WAS A LONG TIME RESIDENT OF EDENDERRY. I WAS BROUGHT UP IN FOUNDRY STREET IN THE SIXTIES. I HAVE VERY FOND MEMORIES OF MY CHILD HOOD IN THAT AREA. I ATTENDED THOMAS STREET SCHOOL AND THE WENT ON TO KILLICOMINE SCHOOL IN THE REIGN HEADMASTER DAVID REILLY. I ALSO DELIVERED PAPERS FOR LILY LYSKE AND GROCERIES FOR THE GREEN GROCER NEXT DOOR I AM SORRY I CANNOT REMEMBER THE NAME OF THE SHOP. I SHALL BE LOGGING ON IN FUTURE, SO I HOPE TO HEAR FROM ANYONE WHO KNEW ME THEN BYE.
